I have swollen lymph from above 2 years
Hello I wanted to ask about a small swelling just above my voice box. I had shown this to another doctor earlier, and he said it was normal as long as there was no pain. But today morning it suddenly became swollen, and for a few seconds I felt like I couldn’t breathe properly. It reduced afterwards, but it worried me . Do I need to worry about this, and should I get any tests done?

A small swelling above the voice box that suddenly increases in size and causes brief breathing difficulty should be evaluated urgently. It could be due to an inflamed cyst, thyroid swelling, or laryngeal inflammation.
