Can i get pregnant with pcos. As Doctor suggested me for laproscopy should i do that. I have completed 1 yr of marriage. Having unprotected sex but no pregnancy. Took treatment like IVF injection and Progesterone gel for 15 days. but then to no pregnancy. I'm frustrated and now this month will do video laparoscopy to diagnose the problem.

Hello...... polycystic ovarian syndrome is the most common cause for irregular periods in these days. It's due to hormonal imbalance between LG and FSH. Common symptoms are irregular periods, hirsutism, weight gain.. It's long term problem.. Reduction in weight shows significant improvement in pcos... Difficulty in pregnancy is common problem with pcos.have you tried ovulation inducing drugs like clomifene ?? If not try it once...if its pcos for sure you don't have to do video assisted laparoscopy because pcos is most common cause ,
