Subfertility is a big problem which needs detailed evaluation and can't be managed by free advice in an open forum.
What you can do for now-
Consult a gynaecologist.
Start folic acid tablets once a day for your wife.
For irregular periods your wife's thyroid profile, prolactin,FSH,LH levels have to be looked into. Also usg scan and other tests like hsg maybe needed.
For you, sperm analysis has to be done and reports have to be reviewed.
