I have been diagnosed with vaginitis

I have consulted the doct regarding my issues and it is a vaginal infection by bacteria and fungal. He has prescribed the following medicine.Fucidine : sodium fucidate to apply to vagina. Is there any side effects it has? Or is it's a good medicine.
