I have been coughing blood
I have been coughing blood since yesterday morning and i use to be a active smoker but i quit and its been 2months and this blood was the 4th time in my lifetime 1st time it was 6months ago...i just want to know that is there any thing serious i should worry about?? Bcz m not able to sleep from last night...can anyone just tell me what might be the prblm?? Will it be serious or it be treated ??

Blood in the sputum in smokers needs to be evaluated in detail by clinical examination and tests such as X RAY chest, CT thorax and bronchoscopy depending on necessity. Without tests it is difficult to comment on diagnosis
