I have abnormal hand hyperpigmentation .

I have dark black lower front arm..my mother have same dark pigmentation in arm and back..whatcis it and wat is the remedy..i have used all the anti tan remedies..and shown to doctr he told to use berberis aquifolium which im using..cant see much difference
