Since my childhood I get very cautious while walking or going to a crowded place or attending a meeting and think everyone is watching me. It leads to discomfort and stif body posture.

Sounds like anxiety in social situations. If it is bothering you and causing dysfunction please meet with a therapist / counsellor who can help you with different behavioural techniques to overcome the same.
