I am a new mom gave birth to a baby in this march'15. So wen can i except my period back?i even did my pregnancy test. I am not pregnant. Is it normal to hav delayed period. Pls help me in this regard. I dont hav any symptoms so far. I am completely normal

Are you breast feeding? if so do you feed your baby day and night?
Often mothers who breast feed can experience absence of periods for up to six months or longer. You are right to do a pregnancy test as absence of periods does not guarantee that you will not get pregnant. You should also request your gynaecologist to give you good advice regarding contraception so you can delay your next pregnancy for at least 2 years.
If you are not breast feeding please see your gynaecologist who will do some blood tests before treating you appropriately. Again please request advice about contraception.
