Hypothyroidism (Subclinical)
Hi, My TSH was 8, it was brought back to normal range of 3.75 after 3months 25mcg Thyroxin. Is it possible to cure it in Auyurveda. Auyurvedic Dr has prescribed me kanchannur Guggul and Hamsaptadi (Kashayam). I wanted to know whether there is a permanent cure. Any help is highly appreciated. Regards Vinay N B

Basically 25 mcg can be reduced to 12 .5 and then slowly taper down as kanchnar starts showing result . Basically u have to n must do yoga pranayam  and some regular brisk  walk . It can be effectively controlled n back to normal levels with no meds and only yoga asana pranayama and ayurvedic meds suits to some vwry well and to some just little. But in my experience with many patients homeo meds have shown good results . Dont worry u will definitely be able to stop thyronorm with the above advise

There is no permanent cure.you have to take thyroid tablets.regularly.please don't stop at any circumstances. Follow up review and lab investigations.you can continue the ayurveda medications too.
