I am doubtful about my baby report about thyroid level initially i check the thyroid tested in which tsh level appeae to be 15.6 for new born baby but then i gave the medicine but had doubt so took the baby for test again within 20 minute after medicine. But report suggest tsh level as 1.66
So what to understand. . Is my baby is suffering from hypothyroidism or not. Can a medicine impact the report within 20 minutes.

NO. Thyroid medicines take weeks to work. One of the reports is probably wrong. Better to get retested at some reliable lab
