Hypothyroidism
Hello, I have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism since April 2014 and I have been taking Levothryoxine 50 mg daily. However, since this year my doctor has increased my dose to 75mg daily since I used to feel tired etc. Yesterday I got a thyroid profile test done and the values are as follows: Free T3- Serum - 1.9 pg/ml Free T4- Serum - 0.5 ng/dl TSH - 1.4 IU/ ml What do I insinuate from my test results since TSH is normal but T4 is low? Thanks and regards Sweetum

Consult an endocrinologist. Low t4 could be lab error or you could have a pituitary gland problem.
