Hello doctor. I just got diagnosed with hypothyroidism. My tsh was 6.99. TPO antibodies are negative. Will I eventually get goitre? Does hypothyroidism cause thyroid swelling?

Don’t worry in your case it is not Goitre .Most of the goitre is caused by iodine deficiency for not consuming iodine salt.
Now start on initial treatment with Thyroxine.
