Yes thyroid hormone level abnormalities can cause changes in facial hair...but there are several other causes as well...in young females PCOS should be ruled out!!

Hello ,hypothyroidism can cause hair on the face, they may be other reasons also for this cause , you need to consult an Endocrinologist .
