Hypoechoic mass in right breast

Asked for Male, 31 Years

My wife facing hardness in right breast. U/s revealed a well defined hypoechoic mass 1.6*1.4*1.2 cm. We have a 1.5 years old boy who regularly takes feed but since 10 days no milk coming from right breast. No h/of breast ca. in u/s dr. Suggested possibly of galactocele and Bi rad 3. No other symptoms. Pls advice we are a lot worried. Thanks in advance.

A galactocele (also called lacteal cyst or milk cyst) is a retention cyst containing milk or a milky substance that is usually located in the mammary glands. They can occur in women during or shortly after lactation. They present as a firm mass, often subareolar, and are caused by the obstruction of a lactiferous duct.
