Hi Moongdal comes under pulse protein..and since his uric acid levels are beyond the normal cut off ranges he cannot have anything that is related to protein .. Purine foods are protein containing foods that tend to increase uric acid levels in the blood.. So avoiding all protein containing foods basing on uric acid levels in blood is recommended.. Depending on the uric levels in blood one should increase or decrease the intake of protein foods in their respective diets.. For example all variety dals or lentils, legumes ( seeds of pods) ,  germinated sprouts etc..to be avoided. For triglycerides omega 3 and 6 rich foods like sea fish like salmon and macarel, almonds and walnuts, flaxseeds, chia seeds, avocados, egg whites, sunflower seeds,v Daily rigorous physical activity both morning and evening like brisk walking for 45 mins, cycling, dancing, aerobics, power yoga, surya namaskar etc.. Exposure to sun is important as low vitamin d levels also increase triglyceride levels in blood. For further details contact through practo for a detailed analysis and customized diet session Thankyou
Health Tips
daily physical activities both morning and evening are very important for reducing triglycerides, high fiber diet especially soluble fibre which helps in reducing blood cholesterol and triglycerides, example oats..

Hi, Uric acid increases with protein and purine rich foods. Dals and pulses come under purine rich foods. He can have moong dal once or twice a week made into thin dal but not more. Better to avoid Masoor. Have more water to flush out uric acid. Avoid tea, coffee ,colas and chocolates.
