What are the test a person have to go through to diagnose hypertrophic cardiomyopathy...I saw a footballer collapsed in the field and I'm scared to start my regular gym and football training.
Should i stop all these to stay safe, I also had covid 2 months back.

Hello,
Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy is a genetic abnormality. You just get a basic ECG and Echo test done for basic screening. Its a rare condition and just because some footballer had it does not mean you should stop playing football. You can do all exercise that you want.
In a suspected case of HCM, screening test is by echocardiogram and confirmation is Cardiac MRI with special focus on SAM, LVOT Gradient, Septal thickness and fibrosis score.
It's not a post Covid thing usually.
