Hello, I got my thyroid test done today ft4 and tsh...I have anxiety, insomnia, heart palpitations and high blood pressure...I get irritated very easily but the doc didn't give me any medicine for thyroid, just gave blood pressure medications... please can anyone just see and say if I need thyroid medication? Thanking in advance

It would be better to have had a free T3 as well. However you can repeat these tests in 6 weeks. Also not sure what medication for BP has been given for your age it should be a ACE inhibitor.
