hello yes tablets are definitely necessary to overcome this problem,,
usuall for some after taking medications for 2 to 3 years the thyroid levels will be in normal range but for some they have to take it for long or even lifetime....get thyroid levels checked frequently about the medication speak with physician for further evaluation and treatment.
