Hypertension during pregnancy
I m 33 weeks pregnant with chronic hypertension. I m taking alphadopa L 100 mg twice daily from starting. My bp remains 130/85 on an average. Recently my bp shoots up to 140/100. Doc advised me to add gravidol 100 mg twice daily. Now my bp remain ok 125/85 during daytime but suddenly rise in night and early moring upto 140/96. I m afraid what to do now? Want to cross atleast 37 weeks and prepared for c section? I m going for walk about 1 hr in morning and half hour in evening. Taking food less in salt with whole grains and salads. Please advice me what should i do?

Hi..hypertension is one of the medical disorders in pregnancy which has its own course during pregnancy.  It does have dangerous effect on health if  not managed  well. YOU ARE A HIGH RISK PREGNANCU. STICK TO YOUR DOCTORS ADVISE.EVEN IF U CROSS 35 WEEKS THAT'S GOOD ENOUGH IN WORST CASES.ALL THE BEST.
