Hypertension and HR
Hi, I am taking concur 5mg for hypertension and high bp for past 20 days. Today a cardiologist asked me to stop the medication for a day and do ABPM test to see how my bp is recorded for 24 hours. I am worried will it have rebound effect if i stop and do my ABPM test(which means i ll skip two doses) since i already had an episode of having 190 HR when a doctor switched me from metroprolol to telma. Please advice Thanks

It’s known that rebound of some degree may happen. Yours is unusual and discuss with your cardiologist As the other relevant details being not available, it’s not possible to comment beyond this
