Hi, this is Dr Hitin Mathur, orthopaedic surgeon at Fortis C Doc Hospital, New Delhi. The nature of the injury and when it happened is important to know. X rays of the elbow done at the time of injury and the latest ones will help. Hyperextension in both arms due to injury is quite rare, the possibility of loose joints due to certain genetic conditions could also be a cause. Examination of the elbow and other joints will be helpful.
