I've been diagnosed withe hyperactive thyroid in 3/2015 my tsh was 0.007 and I'm using carbemazole starting with 30 mg and now am on 5mg from one year . My question is : 1-for how long I can use this medicine 2-dose this medicine rise blood sugar my ac1 is 6.5 since I start this med 3-can I stop this med now 4-what alternatives I can do Thank you

You can continue to use this medicine for as long as the thyroid needs to be controlled . Keep getting thyroid checked occasionally. It doesn't lead to increase sugar levels , please check those separately . Do you have any other illness or diabetes ?
