Hyperacidity everyday
I suffer from hyperacidity since last 8 years.. Y dad, ma grandpa all suffered from similar condition. I had lost almost 10 kgs as i was unable to eat anything without having acidity which would be followed by vomiting and migraines. I was put on Esomeprazole 40 mg bd. And it controls my symptoms completely. Even if i forget the tab for a day the symptoms like heartburn, vomiting, migraine develop. I have tried everything from Ayurveda, homeopathy, diet modification, yoga etc etc. I follow a good diet of home made non spicy food. Problem is that, im planning to conceive this year, what should I do to control acidity during pregnancy? Is esomeprazole consider safe? Not taking any antacid is not an option as eno or gelusil dont work on me. Kindly suggest some antacid or h1blocker or ppi that can be continued throughout pregnancy. Thanks.

Hi.... Avoid foods and drinks that trigger heartburn. Everyone has specific triggers. Common triggers such as fatty or fried foods, tomato sauce, alcohol, chocolate, mint, garlic, onion, and caffeine may make heartburn worse. Avoid foods you know will trigger your heartburn. Eat smaller meals. Avoid overeating by eating smaller meals. Don't lie down after a meal. Wait at least three hours after eating before lying down or going to bed....
