Hydrocephalus and TB meningitis
Hello sir I want to consult for my father he is suffering from chest tuberculosis since 2009-2010 and he he also started course of tb but interrupt in between but finally he completed his course almost twice but till then he lost his one lung. And on September 2015 he suddenly got his first stroke in which he became unconscious 5-6 hrs after that he came back to normal but now on 28/10/2018 he got second brain stroke then after few test taken here by the doctor. Both neurologist and psychiatrist doctors are saying he is suffering from Tb meningitis in severe stage and it is beyond curing and he have hydrocephalus in brain. Patient lost his sense and sometimes get unconscious. Suggest me what should I do now currently he is admit in local hospital in emergency. Thank you

He should get lumbar puncture done.... Get csf analysis.... If reports suggestive of tb meningitis he may require  evd or shunt for hydrocephalus
