Hydrocele problem
I am a 35-year-old male and have had a hydrocele for the past 10–11 years. I don’t know how it developed. Currently, it is of moderate size, and when I touch the scrotum, it feels like there is some fluid inside. At present, I don’t feel any discomfort, as it hasn’t increased abnormally or grown significantly. Should I go for surgery, or can I leave it as it is? If I leave it untreated, could it cause any harm in the long term or in the future?"
