Hurt in the ear

I live in a hostel. Yesterday I went to a friend's room. Then a senior came and he suddenly hit me/slapped me on my shoulders but accidentally his hands slipped and hit me in the ear. After that I feel like fainting.Will anything happen to me? Will it disturb my balance/equilibrium? Will it cause harm to my brain?
