  4. Hsv 1&2 igG and igM. Infection present?

Hsv 1&2 igG and igM
I had a recent test on herpes and the results comes out as negative, that is below 9 for both igM and igG. Does this mean no infection present? Biological reference mentioned as <9.0 is negative followed by equivocal and positive. Pls clarify.
