What is the difference between HSG and SSG ?? I have fear of pain.. Which procedure has less pain ?? Never inserted speculum in vagina... Does it cause pain ??

HSG is where radio opaque dye is instilled onto uterine cavity & X-ray done. SSGis when saline is injected & Sonography done. Both can cause mild discomfort. Speculum examination is not painful if you have normal coital experience
