Hello sir plz help me what is no active/dormant hpv infection means bcoz in google it showing different answers it show that you don't have hpv at all in your body and then showing hpv is present but not causing harm it may be dormant plz, help me for clear this statement.plz explain me sir

Hpv infection can enter a latent phase in which the virus wont cause infection but remain in body. Most of the hpv infections are cleared by immune system of our body, but some may persist in latent phase causing reactivation later.
