Hello doctor, My baby is 2.5yr & demands breastfeeding post lunch or night time mainly. But sometimes it's hard to refuse it, because baby start crying. Kindly advise how to limit feeding time to night! Or any other information will be helpful. Thanks!

His breast feedings only for security not for nutrition. Keep him clung to you not only when he demands but give him emotional support by your loving guestures throughout the day . He will feel secure& he won’t demand feeding at breast .

At 2.5 years of age, your milk won't help as far as nutrition is concerned. You should be firmed with no breast feeding thing for couple of days. Child willl show tantrums for few days but eventually he will forget.
