As a woman I love to wear slippers, they are more comfortable. But with long hours in the sun and dust, my feet become extremely tanned. And I would like to know, how to remove tan from feet so that my feet look clean and nice at all points of time?

You should use a sunscreen lotion to the exposed areas so that there won't be further tanning of the skin. These following are some remedies which can help with removing the tan: - Slice lemon and rub it on the tanned region, leave it on for a few minutes before you hit the shower. Do this once or twice daily. - Take 2 tablespoons Bengal gram flour, a pinch of turmeric, 1 tablespoon rose water and 1 tablespoon milk. Mix the ingredients, Apply this pack on the cleansed areas and leave it on for a good 20 minutes. Once the pack is dry, moisten your skin with a few drops of water. Then, gently remove the pack by scrubbing first in the clockwise and then the anticlockwise direction. You can further increase the potency of this pack by adding a tablespoon of crushed and powdered orange peel. You may apply this pack every alternate day for best results. - Take 1/2 cup ripe papaya and 1 tablespoon honey. Mash the papaya and add honey to it. Blend well and apply the pack on your face. Leave it on for half an hour. Wash off with cold or lukewarm water for best results. Do this twice or thrice a week.
