How to identify a good full body checkup
Hello Doctor, I want to undergo a full body checkup but I am not sure what all tests it should included. Please suggest the things I should keep in mind before taking a full body check-up plan. Thanks in advance

A full body check up, must cover all important aspects of your body 1. Liver function test 2. Kidney function test 3. Complete haemogram ( for blood and it's constituents) 3. FBS, PPBS , HBA1C 4. Cholesterol assay - Total,HDL, LDL, VLDL, ratio 5. Thyroid - T3, T4, TSH 6. Urine test - basic is enough ( in case you have burning sensation while passing urination or repeated urinary infection go for urine culture) 7. Stool analysis ( can be avoided if you have no issues with stools) 8. USG abdomen 9. Basic eye check up 10 . If you work in air conditioned environment and your exposure to sunlight is limited go for a calcium test and a bone density test. Rest all, in my opinion is not really required. But, you should meet a good family physician or Ayurveda physician every year. Prevention is better than cure. So a discussion with your physician about diet , lifestyle, family history of diseases will help in early detection and resolution of problems if any. Good luck
