How to cure GERD permanently?

I have having last 2 years GERD problem.When covid-19 started since that suffering GERD so how to cure permanently from GERD.

1. Reduce your weight, if you are overweight. 2. Stop smoking and taking tobacco products, if you are taking one. 3. Don't sleep immediately after a meal, keep a gap of at least 2 hours between your last meal and sleep. 4. Cut your tea or soft drink intake. 5. If the above measures fails, then please see a local gastroenterologist and get and endoscopy done.
