How to cure bacterial infection treatment

I am my bacterial infections in my chest. My chest x-ray shows infections. Even my throat had infection. I went to my family physicians he gave my antibiotics for the treatment. I am 24 year old male taking multi vitamins tablets. Please tell me what are the ways to treat bacterial infections'?
