How much is laparoscopic cholecystectomy recovery time
Hi my father who is 57 year old is undergoing a laparoscopic cholecystectomy since he has cholelithiasis since 2 months. He has extreme pain currently. This surgery is in the next week. He has hypertension with it. Kindly guide how many days would it take for recovery after this surgery?

hi.. ideally laproscopical surgeries will require hospital of not more than a day. Since he had hypertension the doctor will advise on the necessary pre investigation to be done and will also ask u to get an anaesthetic fitness for the surgery. U will also be instructed on what medications which he is already having has to be had when before the surgery and from when u will have to be on fasting. patient can go home mostly on the day of surgery provided that he is settled and recovery time differs from patient to patient. post surgery u will be guided on the post operative care and the medications
