Homocysteine levels are 46
I got my brother complete comprehensive heart health check up which includes all heart related parameters, everything in report was normal except for homocysteine levels and platelet crit - 0.09 ( normal levels - 0.19-0.39). In remarks it's written appear adequate in smear present in lumps) Is it any big issue?

Everyone gets a test done for a reason so please try to mention the reason of the test. Try to give complete medical history when you ask a question. Upload photos of the report also. High homocysteine can be due to some vitamin deficiency and high homocysteine is the cause of low pct. Can become a big issue if not taken care off . Can lead to atherosclerosis Tell him to stop smoking... avoid alcohol.... avoid Red meat.. low cholesterol diet. As we don't know anything about your borther medical and general history so wont be able to advise you anything.
