you must go for clinical examination and if required CT scan or PET scan...f/b biopsy to rule out malignancy

No it is not like that. I will give one small example for your understanding. Headache is one of the symptom of brain cancer. But whoever had headache we cannot tell them suffering from brain cancer. In your case Need proper clinical examination. If you had really palapable lymph nodes then biopsy to be done to rule out lymphoma
