Hiv through used syringe
I met with an accident a month ago and was shiffted to a renowned hospital. Usually i check is a new injection is used or not but that day somehow i missed it . I am not sure if the needle/syringe was new or not. Does such practice still go on in a renowned medical institution where they are well aware of the fact of hiv transmission. Usually a month later i started experiencing signs of depression ? Can you please help me on this

Hello there. I can understand your concern. No one uses used syringes. I don't know why you even have this doubt. It's good to be careful though. A disposable syringe hardly costs 10 rupees. And the fact that they are disposable, they are disposed off. I don't think you should be worried. You can get yourself tested though. Best regards.
