Hiv test and window period
I had an un protected sex with a sexworker on 12jan2017..after one week of that i feel swollen lymphnodes in my neck..i got hiv tridot test after one month and also a test in ictc center.. so my questions are 1.what is the window period of tridot 2.what kind of test they use in ictc..what is its window period? 3.can anxity cause the hiv symptoms like swollen lymphnodes.. please answer

Window period in HIV infection is the period from the time of the infection to the development of immunity when antibodies can be detected. During this period the tests may be negative. So wait for 3 more months and repeat the tests. If again negative, you are safe.
