Hi I had a sexual intercourse which is a protected one it's been almost 12 days now, just a worry about HIV what is the window period for an hiv symptoms to begin I mean with in how many days we start experience the HIV symptoms. Please let me know I am planning to get HIV PCR RNA TEST done.

Hello. Don't worry. Since its a protected one, there are very minimal chances. You can approach local govt hospital. The window period can be a variable averaging 3 months.
