Hiv infection
Today i went to a barber shop for hair cut. After the hair cut he used a razor to slash little hair on back of head and behind ears. I didnt see him changing the blades and really worried if he reused a blade which might be containing hiv positive blood from a previous person. I didnt get any noticeable cut and when i came back home i applied little aftershave to check if there was any cut. I didnt feel much sensation and hence i assume there wasnt any visible cut. The blade was used to clean the hair on back side of head only on the last person. Its unlikely if there was any blood on it. Still i m worried about hiv. Should i go for PEP as its just an hour post that exposure? The time difference between its use on last person to mine was approx 10 minutes. Worried plz help.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. You are thinking too much. Usually they do change the blade. And you should also be careful. You have to check if they have or not. Since there was no cut, there was nothing in the blade and you aren't even sure if the blade was re used or not, I don't think you should be worried at all. Best regards.
