Hiv exposure while taking sample

Good morning doctor Please guide i by mistake took sample of ictc positive patient bare handedly and i had small fresh cut on thumb.i don't remember exactly that while discarding syringe slight blood touched that cut or not what should i do . there wasn't any prick per se but while discarding i might have got slight blood on thumb which i dont remember that it touched my cut or not. Please guide
