High uric acid
How quickly can uric acid leves be reversed without treatment. My husband diagnosed with uric acid of 8 in full body checkup. Since, he does not has any symptoms doctor told to drink plenty of water and do 30-45 mins of exercise everyday along with low purine diet. I just want to check how quickly can we reduce the levels? 8 months ago his uric acid was normal in full body checkup result. Please suggest if this level is something alarming and we should start medicine. Male, Age - 33 Height - 5'8 and weigh 80. No other illness like diabetes or BP.

Go accordingly to your doctor's advice fluid intake should be high.. reduce high uric acid rich food.. repeat the test after 3 months
