High potasium in blood 6.2 mmol/l
My father has bicarb at 16.4 after abg test . He is also a hyponatremia patient where as of now his sodium is 139 . Suddenly his potassium has increased upto 6.2 mmol/l and so doctor has suggested to dytor 10 once daily, k bind sachet three times a day , and nodosis ds two times a day. Is it safe for him to take these medications as he also has a tendency where his sodium gets low. Please give urgent suggestions

Yes U need to take medicine but given very high K level, he may need hospital admission. This is life threatening high K level
