In general nothing to worry. Platelet count varies, some time high, some time less. Usually less platelet count is suggesting some abnormality otherwise wise no prob.
If all other parameters are ok and pt. doesn't hav any symptoms.

Platelet count > 750 needs to be investigated thoroughly. Kindly do a complete hemogram of your kid . Post the peripheral smear study. Most of the time its reactive thrombocythemia
