High hemoglobin
My hemoglobin level varies between 17.5-18.2. what could be the possible reasons for such a high hgb levels. What are the possible illness due to same and precautions. Will it impact heart functioning?

If u r smoker or u stay at high altitude then it is expected. High hemoglobin means more RBC and more viscous/thick blood which can lead to strokes. Consult haematologist.
