High functioning autism /hiper active
Hi I am giving brain wave syrup and Ristop-plus but we hardly know abt these medicine pls tell me how they'll affect my hyper and mild autistic daughter . I am giving 1/2 tablet at night but it is causing lot of drowsiness in her can we reduce the doses to 1/4 as ppl say that by giving these medicine ur daughter will become dull and sleepy will act as robote I am very confused weather I should give her or not

I must say it must have been really difficult for a parent to manage a child with adhd and autism yes risperdone can cause sedation but it would be worthwhile to discuss side effects and dosing with your treating doctor he must be the best judge or if you wish you can take a second opinion from another psychiatrist
