High fever
My mom is diabitic, is suffering from cold-fever. Please reccomend best medicine. Weakness is there, she used to be very active, but now very weak. No coughing is there. High body temperature is there.

Sir,
Your mum needs to be examined for proper advice. Is blood sugar under control. She may take plenty of water, rest ,check temperature 4 times per day. As a first aid, She can take tab dolo 650 mg 3 times per day for fever/body aches. Does she have any other problems. Get back to me with details for further advice.

Fever in a diabetic will subside only if blood sugar is under control. Paracetamol and cetrizine for fever and a course of antibiotic since we cant take a risk in a diabetic elderly.. will worsen quickly.. better consult and start treatment.
