High fever
My brother is suffering from high fever from last two days. He gets fever and start feeling cold all of a sudden. I don't know which test should I do. Please recommend me something.

Dear Sir
Good to see you taking care of your brother.
Seasonal causes must be ruled out first which are mostly viral.
But the chills and rigors usually suggest bacterial or parasitic infection like malaria.
If he still has fever.. see a doctor get proper labs done.
Meanwhile you can keep fever in check with paracetamol 650mg sos.
But do see a doctor and get work up done.
Fevers must not be ignored.
