Hello Dear, Sudden fever with temperature ranging from 101-102 can be viral or even due to some bacterial infection. If you can be a but more specific and elaborate about your symptoms, I will be able to judge the reason behind the fever. Besides,if the fever isn't coming under control, you can take Tablet Dolo 650, one tablet thrice a day which is a bit stronger than Calpol and will bring the fever under control. Also of the fever lasts longer than 3 to 4 days, you should get a blood test done for fever profile.

Hello There. I can understand your concern, what else are you suffering from apart from fever and weakness? is there any sore throat, running nose etc? it could be a viral fever and viral fever just requires symptomatic treatment. paracetamol 650mg thrice a day after food. drink lots of water and have a soft diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. consult a physician if fever persists beyond 2 days. best regards, Dr. Anil kumar jain.
